Yarding is the only group messaging platform keeping African American college students AND alum at the forefront.

There are several messaging applications we use on a daily basis but very few market and cater to urban culture.

A few years ago a popular college-focused app surfaced giving it's users the option to see various anonymous posts from campuses within a certain mile radius.  At that time, the app composed of a list of "every" college/university in the nation so users could select a particular school to see what students on that campus are posting about. 

 

Great concept except for one thing...there were no HBCUs listed.  Not one Historically Black College listed on the list for its users to choose from, yet they wanted us to use the platform (the app is headquartered in the south btw).  

 

Yarding does the exact opposite. Created "for us by us", Yarding is a platform that puts urban culture first. It allows users to join groups, create channels, and chat privately with others.  Want to slide in the DM? Have an event you're planning on or off campus?  Maybe a game night or a Homecoming party?  Yarding lets you create events (free or paid) and invite others all within the app.  Did we mention the really really dope emojis and stickers specifically designed for you by your peers?
